This report will be on Mochtar Riyadi Research Center (MRC) in Lippo Karawaci and Rumah Taman in Pondok Aren Bintaro which both located in West Jakarta. The Mochtar Riyadi Research Centre belongs to PT. Lippo Karawaci (owner) and the design consultant is PT Anggara Architeam. Whereas Rumah Taman belong to Mr. Manlian Ronald and the consultant and architect is PT. Hema Cipta Kreastika. Mochtar Riyadi Research Center in Lippo Karawaci is located in the north part of Central Lippo Karawaci. It is surrounded by school, restaurant, temple, hotel and hospitals and is in one of Lippo Karawaci artery. Its east border is Medical faculty of Pelita Harapan Universitas; west border is an empty unused area, whereas its north and south border is people’s houses and Jendral Sudirman Street. The purpose of this project is mainly to give contribution to the people in the medical way; moreover the MRC is prepared to be one of the important buildings in Lippo Karawaci which will attract more visitors to come to Lippo Karawaci. In this project we are focusing on structural and its implementation. In this project we were contributing by giving a weekly progress, making a construction drawing, calculating beam volume and vertical concrete load, also giving some recommendation. In Rumah Taman project we are focusing on the design (drawing, utilities and mechanical electrical), structural and construction method of café and service area. Our contribution in this project are making soft working drawing and models besides helping to visualizes to the owner and giving the recommendation to the owner. The report only covers some part of the structural process development and building process. It is written after a 170 hours of observation on the site. The information is collected through interview with the supervisors and/ or workers and direct observation. The parts of the design process covered in this report are the structural development from foundation, semi basement and upper ground. This also covered how to built building with cooperation with so many sides involved.
