Abstract
Jakarta is a city where destined by most of Indonesian population to find some living or even for a holiday. The fast development of Jakarta City, gives some potential for architect or purveyor to come and join. The process of the development is a positive movement to increase the foreign exchange, but the fact is between the development and the needs of green space are not balanced. This problem will affect the air quality in Jakarta with less empty space, even there is no more space. An alternative to handle this problem is applying an urban farming program to high-rise building. Urban farming is a base farming technique of vegetables, fruits, small plant, and some big trees in an area that are not too wide. The difference between urban farming with basic farming is the media to plant the seeds. The media for urban farming is more flexible, for example vertical farming and rooftop farming. All these process will directly affect the air quality in Jakarta. Therefore, the big concept that will be designed is an application of urban farming into high-rise building where simultaneously it will be used for a dwelling space or residential. These combination between the two components are the way out to answer pollutant problems and the lack of empty space in Jakarta. In the end, by applying these concept could reduce the level of pollutant in Jakarta and increase the living quality for users or even the population.
