Abstract
Almost every vacant land in urban areas is used to make high-rise buildings in the form of high-rise and mixed-use. With the high development of tall buildings, the design demands too high. The facade of the building is one of the constituent elements of high buildings. Almost all high-rise buildings in the world to use the system as a curtain wall facades of their buildings with glass material that makes the air temperature around urban areas increased. With the advance of technology and the discovery of the material as the aesthetics of the building facade design develops. Emerging material replaces the old material because of the nature - new material properties better than the old material as facade, one of which is ETFE. ETFE has remarkable material properties when compared with other materials such as glass facade of building materials. Especially in tropical regions like Indonesia with a high enough heat in the comfort of their activities depend on the facade of the building. Therefore, learn a new material that is suitable for the facade of the building is very important in the development of architecture, especially in high-rise buildings which have a number of activities that many .Learn something new such as ETFE to be applied to the problem is difficult enough without experimenting, but can be helped with the precedent studies help us to understand how to apply them in the real world and with similar problems.
