Bojong Jaya area in Tangerang has the high density and settlements with no healthy , safe , and comfortable then required the intervention in connection to the development of sustainable environment. Collective house design is a architecture included in sustainable development because the vision is transforming environmental conditions settlements with no qualify again as a dwelling. Required the design of collective house by the application of a pattern of communal room that can be a space to serve the interaction and social activity so that it can improve relations social interaction inmates without changes the pattern of life togetherness in rural remembering that people living in densely populated area of bojong jaya habit of rural communities is often doing social activity outside occupancy as sell, sitting, gathering, etc. It is because of writers aware that the way to live vertical for any occupant who formerly living horizontally it takes lots of adjustment especially adjustment in fulfillment of a need for social inhabitant of. I did a study using the method of observation and then I get the data that has been analyzed in order to get a pattern of communal space which I will apply to the design of flats in Bojong Jaya. Communal spaces that occur in the home underlayer occurs in circulation / alleys in the village then laying the communal spaces are effective in flats were placed following the pattern of communal spaces in the house underlayer is on the circulation / corridor flats. On floors 2-3, 5-6, 8- 9, 11, and 13 will also be placed communal space for indoor sports activities.
