Rumah singgah ialah satu dari banyak solusi yang ditawarkan terkait permasalahan anak jalanan khususnya di Indonesia. Berbagai jenis rumah singgah yang ada di Indonesia dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan fungsi dari rumah singgah itu sendiri. Mayoritas rumah singgah dibangun hanya sebagai tempat berlindung sementara bagi anak-anak jalanan dan program di rumah singgah sendiri biasanya berbasis social dimana anak jalanan dihubungkan dengan tim ahli agar anak social bisa terkoneksi dengan norma sosial yang ada. Padahal setelah diteliti sebenarnya munculnya anak jalanan lebih sering disebabkan oleh faktor ekonomi, dimana program sosial rumah singgah jarang yang pendekatanya melalui ekonomi. Oleh sebab itu penulis ingin memaparkan terkait rumah singgah dengan menggunakan aspek-aspek psikologis dan berdasarkan konsep pendekatan ekonomi. Dari hasil pengkajian terkait desain dan tata ruang Rumah Singgah dengan konsep pendekatan ekonomi. Di dapatkan hasil jika rumah singgah tersebut menonjolkan kegiatan pelatihan dan pembelajaran untuk anak-anak jalanan sehingga nantinya mereka dapat menerapkan ilmu yang telah mereka peroleh untuk mencari uangs secara layak. / The shelter is one of the many solutions offered regarding the problems of street children, especially in Indonesia. Various types of covers in Indonesia are designed according to the needs and functions of the shelters themselves. Most shelter houses are built only as temporary shelters for street children. Programs in covers themselves are usually socially based where street children are connected with a team of experts so that social children can connect with existing social norms. In fact, after researching, the actual emergence of street children is more often caused by economic factors, where social programs for shelter homes are rarely approached through economics. Therefore, the researcher wants to explain halfway houses by using psychological aspects and based on earning from the study results related to the design and layout of the Shelter House with the concept of earning. The results are obtained if the halfway house features training and learning activities for street children so that later they can apply the knowledge they have acquired to earn decent money.
